Overview
#

CompTIA A+ is the classic entry point into IT — hardware, operating systems, networking basics, mobile devices, troubleshooting, and operational procedures. The current version is split across two exams, 220-1201 (Core 1) and 220-1202 (Core 2), both of which launched in March 2025 and are required to earn the cert. It’s foundational for help-desk and support roles and a solid base before moving into security.

Status: Earned
